The Story of Six of Clubs

IMG_2697 (1)Formed in 2010, SIX OF CLUBS is a group of six friends (clockwise from left: Rich Miller, John Hargraves, Angela Cason, Win Rutherfurd, Bebe Broadwater, Nick Firth), who are music aficionados and enjoy performing songs from The Great American Songbook–the finest American songs of the 1920s to 1960s, principally from Broadway musical theatre, and Hollywood musicals.

Over the past 11 years Six of Clubs have performed over 200 songs from the Great American Songbook.  Previous shows have featured the songs of Jerome Kern, Harold Arlen, Alan Jay Lerner, Burton Lane and Frederick Loewe, Rodgers and Hart and Rodgers and Hammerstein, George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, and Cole Porter as well as songs from Hollywood Musicals, the Fabulous Fifties and The Swinging Forties.  Our current show, LEGENDS, reprises favorites over our years together. The group generally performs at private clubs on the Eastern Seaboard from Boston to Florida, and was proud to sing the National Anthem at Fenway Park!
